Good Luck!
Look at State Farm and other insurers who offer a "good student" discount. One strike against you on the premium is the fact that you bought a Mustang. This is considered a sports car in vehicle ratings (IRG) and add to that an 18 year old single male and it causes actuaries everywhere to shudder. Those are all high risk elements when figuring a premium. However, if he's in your household and you have multiple policies with the same company and he's got the grades AND you have a good claim history with no accidents, that will give you the best rate. If he didn't have a car that had to carry collision coverage, it would be a lot cheaper but what's done is done. No matter the cost, be sure he has at least $100,000/$300,000 liability limits.
Good overview of bodily injury coverage. Most car insurance policyholders probably know very little about the topic – but they should know.

If you never had an accident, you never had an accident. Insurers can say what they want! Till they come up with hard proof, you ain't never had no accident, period.
Just LEAVE these people and find better insurers.
But if you say "I'm guessing it has something to do with the June 2007 incident, which never happened."
I am not sure what you are talking about. THEN someone has hard proof of this or not? If they do they must provide it and then you can act on it. Sounds like ID theft.
First off… do not cash or deposit the check that the insurance company gives you. Take the person who hit you to small claims court. bring 2 or 3 insurance estimates. The other persons insurance will represent them..but they will lose and the judge will grant you the lower of the 3 estimates. Only thing that sucks is that it will take a while.
In most cases you will not actually go to court because the insurance co. knows that they will lose so they will back down.
You probably can't. The rating models are too complex.
Call your parent's agent, and ask them to work up numbers for you.
Or post the following answers for each question, and I'll ballpark it.
What city/state? What type of business?
Bonding: why do you need bonding? what type of bond? some examples are: fidelity, licensing, performance, payment, erisa. Each of them have their own rating questions. Bonds can range in cost from $250 to 20% of the job cost, so it's a huge range.
Auto: what type of cars, how old are the cars, how old (on average) are the drivers, and what are the cars used for, where do they go, and how many of each type?
Building – how big is the building (in square feet), what's it made of, how old is it, how recently updated is the plumbing, heating, electric? Do you own it or rent?
Liability – what type of business? What are the gross sales? What type of product? How much do you pay the employees? How many employees are there?
Workers Comp: What do the employees do, and how much do you pay each category of employee? This is actually the easiest to "guestimate" – as the rating is strictly based on payroll.
